We had a client come to our emergency services department looking very discouraged. She had been looking for a job for months and was ready to give up. We were able to help her out by giving her some new ideas to apply to her job search. We also prayed together, which seemed to encourage her! She was then provided with some food and referrals of her needs. Praise God for the power of encouraging words!

It is always exciting to see the success of our participants' children. One of our single mothers is proud to announce that she now has two high school graduates attending college. This mother has been a source of inspiration and motivation to both of her children. It is awesome to watch her teach her children perseverance through life's difficulties.
